Branches of Chemistry
Chemistry has many branches. The five chief branches of chemistry are as follows: Physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry.

- Inorganic chemistry: The inorganic chemistry is the branch that is involved with the properties and behaviour of inorganic compounds, which include metals, minerals, and organometallic compounds.
- Analytical Chemistry: Analytical chemistry is the branch of chemistry that mainly deals with the analysis of different substances or can be defined as the branch that focuses on quantitative analysis of the matter.
- Biochemistry: It is the branch of chemistry that deals with the chemical processes within and related to living organisms.
- Organic chemistry: The branch of chemistry that highlights on the structure and properties of organic compounds is called organic chemistry. It mainly deals with hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbons are organic compounds composed of elements of carbon and hydrogen only.

As per the analysis, students say the most difficult exam they have taken in their boards is chemistry. They feel scoring marks in the subject is hard and challenging.
